SUCKERS AND LOOSERS

Recently it came to light that President Trump, and confirmed by members of his own staff that while on a official trip to France, recently that he was quoted as saying that the men and women who died in defense of the United States of America were SUCKERS and LOOSERS. Coming from a 5 time draft dodger that statement is very hurtful to current members of the Armed Forces and to those families who will never again see their hero´s. This man is after all the Commander in Chief of all the armed forces, and while other free world leaders paid their respects to the fallen heros buried in the Aisne-Marne American Cemetary close to the battle of Belleau Wood in which almost 2,000 U. S. Marines were killed and 8 ,000 wounded or missing in action. It is noted that despite the ¨light rain ¨French President Emmanual Macron and German Chancellor Angel Merkel¨ attended the ceremonies and Canadian Prime Minister attended his own ceremony in Compiegne paying tribute to Canadian troops killed at Vimy ridge on the battlefields of northeastern France.

Both of my sons served in the U.S. Navy and one retired after 20 years of service. The older son spent 12 years in the Navy.

Two of my Grandchildren joined the U.S. Military, one in the U.S. Air Force and she saw combat duty in the Middle East as a crew member on twin-engine intelligence collection aircraft. My Grandson joined the U.S. Marines, a life long dream. I was very proud to attend both of th of his brothers eir graduation ceremonies as a retired member of the U.S. Navy. My brother Jim enlisted in the U.S. Army. My father and both of his brothers served in the Armed Services, during World War II. My father served aboard a ship in many of the battles in the South Pacific. He again served his country during the Korean War in the U.S. Navy. There certainly many more relatives on all sides of the family who have served their country with pride. NONE OF WHICH WERE SUCKERS OR LOSERS, We should all know who the real LOSER is and he is sitting in the White House.
