WHAT FEW PEOPLE EVER WITNESS

A few weeks ago while having lunch in my hometown of Puerto Vallarta Mexico. Was sitting at a table overlooking the Malecon and engaging in one of my favorite passtimes. people watching, it is a hobby of sorts. A rather young woman was walking with a young child in her arms and her little girl was walking besides her when I noticed two Puerto Vallarta motioned her to over where they were standing. …and what I witnessed was one of the nicest geastures I had seen in a very long time, both officers a man and woman reached into their own pockets and gave this woman in need some pesos. In Mexico not unlike other countries around the world police officers are not high on the pay scale….often over worked and underpaid….they take the blunt of much criticism and scorn until of course we are in desparate need of them…..Karma is a very big deal in my life…..and these two offricers will someday indeed receive the love they showed this day….love for another human being struggling to survive in a world full of self-centered, narrow-minded humans.
